Our Aims
The objectives of the organisation will be:-
(a) To promote horticulture in and around Burnside for the benefit of the public by providing or encouraging the provision of displays of flowers, shrubs, trees and landscapes in places visible to the public; and
(b) To advance the education of the public concerning the natural environment through the development of environmental programmes.
The organisation will seek to protect, preserve and enhance the environmental amenities of Burnside with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants by promoting the prevention and control of litter and otherwise by promoting high standards of cleanliness in the streets and other public places.
Membership of the Group shall be open to all residents, and former residents, of the Burnside area, and all those who have an association with Burnside, and who wish to support the aims of the Group.
